- From Sweden
- Yes. Both pay claims hold word for word, including that 100+ USD/h is an explicit top amount. The Swedish ad is 50 USD once for about 2 hours of spoken commands, i.e. roughly 25 USD per hour, and payment happens only after the review is complete. The platform publishes no common hourly rate. The latest Trustpilot review is about 47 hours of work that was paid as 9 hours after the rules were changed retroactively. Referral: 10 USD per qualified referral with an activation deadline, tied to individual projects.
- Rating
- 1.4/5 (371) Source: Trustpilot for appen.com: 1.4/5 on 371 reviews. The latest review is specifically about Appen/CrowdGen: 47 hours of work on Project Origami but paid for only 9 hours after the rules were changed retroactively. Counterpart: Glassdoor 3.4/5 (2,203). Read.
- Known problem
- CROSS-CHECK: Trustpilot 1.4/5 (371 reviews); the latest review is about retroactively changed rules and rejected payment. 100+ USD/h is an explicit top amount ('Top hourly pay', '*Pay rate is based on location and skills') and should not be read as a normal level. Work is first-come first-served: a group can fill up before you get a task.
