Privacy
We have no accounts and no forms, and we store no personal data. If you give your consent we measure anonymously which pages and links are used. Otherwise we measure nothing.
Measurement with your consent
The first time you visit the site we ask for consent to anonymous measurement. If you say no, or have Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control switched on, nothing is sent and nothing is stored.
If you say yes we store, per event:
- a random id that the browser creates and that expires after 24 hours (it cannot be linked to you, and a new id is created the next day)
- which page you viewed, for example
mercor - that you used a filter (only which filter, never what you chose or typed in the search box)
- that you clicked a link to a platform, and which
- the date (not the time of day)
We do not store IP address, user agent, screen size, referrer, fingerprint or anything else that identifies you. Nothing goes to third parties: no Google Analytics and no pixels. The measurement is used for a weekly summary: number of views and clicks per platform.
You can change your mind at any time:
Cookies
We use no cookies. With your consent the browser stores your choice and the random id locally (localStorage). Without consent no id is stored.
What the host may log
The server's web host may log technical data such as IP address in its own server logs, to keep the service secure. That information is handled by the host, not by us, and we do not read the logs. If you want to know which host we use, contact us.
Ad links
When you click a link to a platform you leave this site. What the platform then collects is stated in its privacy policy. With your consent we see that a link was clicked, never by whom. The platforms see what they see, and we do not control that.
If you get in touch
It is not possible to write to us through this site: we publish no contact details. Contact is explained here.
