We only read public pages. No accounts, no purchases, no logins. All data comes from public pages.

Confidence labels

Every pay figure carries a label showing what it rests on:

Where we have not found a source it says unknown. We never guess a pay figure, a rating or whether you can work in a country.

The ranking

The ranking has two steps.

Step 1 — filter

A platform makes the main list only if it can be used from Sweden, or if there are confirmed Swedish language assignments. This is a filter, not a score: a high pay you cannot get is worth zero.

We map 66 platforms in total. This is how the filter went:

The first two groups end up in the main list. The last two end up under "Platforms we do not recommend" — they do not disappear, they are explained. Handshake AI pays well but requires an SSN and US work authorisation, and it is valuable to know why.

Step 2 — score

We use no star ratings or letter grades. They cannot be reproduced, and it would be hard to know what they are based on.

Commission and ranking are two separate things

We take commission from some platforms. The commission does not affect the score. A platform with a high commission is not ranked higher, and a platform without commission is not ranked lower.

What you see as a real link means that the platform has a published referral program, that the commission is paid out, and that it is possible to refer someone there from Sweden. It does not mean it is the best paid. You may, for example, see a platform with a low score but a real link — it earns less, but the commission is worth taking.

Full terms, with amounts and prohibitions, are on the referral programs page.

What we cannot compare

Platforms that pay per task cannot be compared with hourly pay. Clickworker states 0.01 to 99 euros per assignment, which can be anything from a few kronor to hundreds of kronor an hour depending on working time. We show per-task pay as it is.
