Referral programs
We have gone through 66 platforms' own pages for referral and affiliate programs. 4 have a published program with amounts that can be referred to from Sweden. 9 have a program, but a weaker one. 2 have a program that applies to companies or employees, not to you.
Programs with published terms and amounts
- Mercor — yes: 20 percent of the referral's earnings incl. bonus, capped at 4 times the hourly rate for hourly assignments; one-off amounts are excluded
Excluded on OTP lists. The hourly rate alone is not enough: bonuses count towards revenue. - micro1 — up to 3,000 USD per successful placement, but the amount is stated on each listing, so it is not always 3,000. Paid after the candidate has worked 10 hours. The amounts are fixed, not a percentage.
Three separate programs (referral, friend, partner). Anyone can refer without an account. No published spam ban. - Clickworker — yes: 5 EUR/USD when the friend has been paid at least 10 EUR/USD themselves. The bonus is paid only after the friend's own payout has gone through. Published in Clickworker's support article, changed.
Applies in 136 countries. No published spam ban. - Sovrano AI — yes: a fixed 20 EUR per intern hired, or 20 percent of everything the referred contractor earns, capped at 4x the referred person's first accepted hourly rate. Only the first referrer counts. Referral payment is monthly, same as regular pay. Work samples do not count.
Only the first referrer counts. Referral is paid monthly, on the same cycle as regular pay. Work samples do not count as paid work and give no referral. Cannot be applied retroactively. Identity verification is required before payout.
Programs that exist but are weaker
The amounts are either not published, vary per project, or give credit instead of money. We mark that instead of pretending that everything is equivalent.
- Mindrift (Toloka's contributor site) — yes: 7 USD when the referred person delivers their first approved video hour (Feather, Record & Narrate). No stated cap. The program targets English and Spanish task links, not Swedish referrers.
Not a general program. - Outlier (Scale AI) — partly: referrals are made from the dashboard; no published terms or amounts
A third party claims 25-200 USD per track. That is NOT an official source - treat as unconfirmed. - Prolific — 30 USD in Prolific credit to both you and the person you refer, once they have spent at least 125 USD. It is credit to spend on future studies, not cash.
The program is not always open: /referrals only shows a waitlist link, and the help centre says the program runs 'occasionally' and only shows in your account if it is active and you are eligible. Always include the 125 USD spend requirement. - uTest — about 15-100 USD per project (varies). 15 USD occurs, so a 20-100 USD range is wrong. A 50 USD referral program is still live on another project.
Sweden is explicitly in the country list. The referrer must choose "From friends/relatives under Referral Program". The earlier link recv-paymt-cnf-test-mc is archived; the 50 USD referral remains live on pymt-inst-test-mc. - Respondent — 50 USD per friend who joins, verifies identity and earns 75 USD in studies. No upper limit. Paid via Tremendous, 7-10 days.
The website explicitly says "no cap" (checked, but the help centre's referral policy states 20 USD at registration and a cap of 5 per project. We follow the website: it is newer and unambiguous, and it is what the reader meets when they click. "Spam or misleading promotion is prohibited." Sweden is not among the 21 primary recruitment countries, but is in the broader worldwide list. - OneForma (CENTIFIC Global Solutions) — No overall program - only per-project forms of 20, 25 or 30 USD.
The links are project-specific and expire quickly. - Handshake AI — yes: 10 percent of the referred person's hourly rate, capped at 40 times the bonus rate per qualified referral
Requires SSN or ITIN - so it cannot be referred from Sweden. Excluded for "referral gaming". - Testable Minds — yes: friends can be registered; withdrawal once referral earnings reach 10 USD
Psychological studies, not AI training. The annual income cap of 600 USD applies to the individual. - Turing — yes: Share & Earn via help.turing.com. The amount is NOT published (you earn a reward). Terms: hired within 3 months + 10 working hours before eligible for payout, paid every two weeks.
Terms: the referred person must be hired within 3 months and do 10 working hours before payout eligibility. Payout every other week by bank transfer. Onboarding requires 2FA, ID, tax details and a payment method.
Where we deliberately do not use a referral link
- Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) — NONE - and explicitly prohibited.
Acceptable Use Policy: "Using the MTurk website to try to generate 'referred' site visits or click-through traffic". A link here would violate their policy. Do not link. - Bright Data — yes, published with amounts, but it is a SALES COMMISSION, not pay: 50% revenue share, up to $2.5K per customer (brightdata.com/referral). Affiliate: 50% revenue share, up to $2.5K + 15% revenue share on referred affiliate's, up to $5K. The payout is credit on the customer account, not cash.
The company sells data traffic, not jobs. Irrelevant for the consumer guide. Do not link.
The other 51 platforms
Have no published referral program. We checked /affiliate, /referral, /partners and the FAQ on each site. There we link directly to the platform without commission — there is nothing to receive.
Amazon Mechanical Turk explicitly prohibits it
MTurk's Acceptable Use Policy says: "Using the MTurk website to try to generate 'referred' site visits or click-through traffic". A guide link there would violate their policy, so we do not do it.
If something goes wrong
If a platform changes its terms, or if we have included a link that does not pay off, get in touch. See contact.
